For the first time ever, here are the two years of beer. Clearly, I got better at affixing the bottle caps to the board the more I did it. The first one looks a little tough.

I went to the Beastie Boys concert tonight. Yes. The Beastie Boys. Yes, my favorite band since I was in 7th grade. Yes, they finally returned to the Twin Cities for the first time in 10 years, and yes I had tickets.

Was it everything I had hoped and dreamed it would be for the last 10 years? Probably not, since it wasn't only them in concert (it was a Get Out & Vote tour), so their set was only about an hour, but I am so happy I got to see them. It was amazing!

Of course, none of my pictures turned out, but that's ok. I made two little videos and they turned out better than I thought they would...and now watching them, I wish I would've done more...but I thought the sound output versus my tiny little digital camera mic would be so bad, it was more important to enjoy it, than try to capture it all on camera.

The first clip is of "Root Down," and the second I had a hunch they were about to do a big song and pulled out my camera in preparation.....just in time to catch the beginning to "No Sleep Til Brooklyn!" That one the sound gets a little rough, but you get the idea. It was pretty sweet.
