Today my 10-Minute play was due for my Creative Writing class. I wrote it last night from midnight until about 4am, and then fixed it this morning. Was it good? Meh, I have a ton to revise, but I had the class laughing and that was my goal. My original version didn't have enough "sex" in it, according to the prof. So I scrapped it, changed the plot, brought in a female character, and brought in the sex factor.......sex meaning anything from romance, to lingering touches, to kissing, to literally sex. The play is basically about this dude who stole an elephant mascot from his girlfriend's high school and he's trying to get away from the fuzz. So there's lots of running around and changing into the elephant costume and then changing out again. The class was saying that there needed to be more romantic interaction while the guy and girl are chaning in and out of the costume......and the prof., being so obsessed about sex, felt he needed to put his two cents in and said "oh yea, and then there would be some elephant juice on the costume."....................................................WHAT??!?!?!?!? Ewwwww. Where did that comment from????! The class was torn between rolling on the ground laughing and rolling on the ground puking.........it was awesome/disturbing.

it snowed here last night. I walked around in it at 4am last night/this morning. It was cool....except it's all gone now today. So thats a bummer. Apparently it was supposed to snow for like 3 days in a row....but it's not looking like that will happen. I wish we would just get a ton of snow. Have you noticed that in recent years we have gotten less and less snow? Maybe it's that we are getting older and don't pay as close attention, or that some of us have gotten bigger so that it takes more snow for it to be cool. I dunno.....I remember walking to and from basketball practice back in the day and having to walk on the road so my shoes wouldn't get messed up. One time I had the great idea to put plastic bags over them......yea I fell down pretty quick. It's like, after the great blizzard of 1991, we have had increasingly less amounts of snowfall each year. By the way, it's been more than 12 years since that blizzard! Woah! I remember that halloween like it was yesterday....even what costume I was....(a dragon.....except I wore a coat and snowpants....so you could only see the face paint) man....we are getting old....pretty soon there will be kids turning 18 that won't remember that blizzard. That's sad. Ok, enough of the reminiscing. I'm gonna go......well, I guess you don't need to know what I'm going to do. ;)

A little background info is needed for the following post.....because I hate name dropping without you guys knowing what the heck I'm talking about. So I know I've mentioned the Res 10-6 girls before...but you don't know who they are. At Wartburg College, there aren't any Fraternaties or Sororities which is a drawback, I know. I kinda wish they did have them....in fact I DO wish they had some, but they don't. Even though we lack these groups, somehow groups similar to the greek clubs emerge. Case in point, the Res 10-6 girls. They're an unoffical sorority of sorts.....and super fun to hang out with. It's a suite of 8 girls (4 bedrooms, two bathrooms) and pretty much theres something going on at all times. So tonight, I went to the observatory with Sarah from the Res 10-6. That whole background info has nothing to do with the following post......it's only an FYI for future posts regarding them.
So yes, went to the observatory with Sarah from the Res 10-6 because she's in my astronomy class. It's about 20 degrees outside, so she decided to drive instead of walk forever....I was game. Problem: We didn't really know what back-road to take. Solution: Guess and hope we find it. So after driving through some random field until we ran out of "road", I jumped out and looked where the observatory was in relation to us. We were sooo far away from it! hahahaha....it was awesome.....not really, so we backtracked and then drove around in circles until we just decided to go back, park the car, and then walk like everyone else. Oh well, it was still fun. :)
