I really am glad that I eventually revised that paper. I almost left it "as is" and said screw it....but in the end I worked on it. And it paid off. My final grade was a B+ for the class...and I got a high B on the paper. Good stuff. I really figured my grade would be a B- or even a C+, because I totally pulled our last test out of my butt. In addition to the normal stuff, we had two essays each worth 35 points....and I had no idea what the second essay was over....so I made up some stuff. I guess I must be a pretty decent creative writer, for I got 34 out of 35 points on that one. Sweetness. So yeah, even though the class was my worst May Term class yet, I still ended up with an OK grade. I can live with a B+.
Anyway....most people are moved out and back home now. I have to stay for graduation...which kind of sucks, but at least there are some cool people still around....like my best friend. And that's cool. Tomorrow I work at the library for a couple of hours and we have the May Term band concert in the evening....but other than that, I have absolutely nothing to do. Kind of like tonight. I may go to bed earlier tonight...pretty crazy....unless, that is, I'm called to go help my best friend pack. But I'm not sure that'll happen.
So yeah....I thought I'd give an update. I'm ready to get back home and then go back to Iowa and then go back to Colorado for the summer...spend some quality time with some people. Get a job...hopefully. Just have some good times away from certain people and closer to certain people as well. Good stuff. Peace out.

So I'm sitting at the library, making somewhat of an attempt at revising my huge paper that I got raped on. But the problem is, I really don't care.....and I figured out in class today that even if I get a 90% on this paper, the best I can get right now isn't even a B+.....if I leave my grade as it is right now, and do the same on my last test as I have been doing, I'll get a B-. Hmmm....it's not that much of an improvement to make me care much. Especially since this class just pisses me off....especially this stupid paper.
So here I am, checking my email, watching baseball, and posting online instead of writing. And if I just did nothing, then I could be in my room drinking a few beers with my roommates. And having a fun May Term....not to say that there haven't been good parts....but it definitely wasn't the drunken free-for-all I was hoping to have....and have watched my roommates have. *SIGH* Luckily, though, my final is a take-home test and isn't due until 4pm on Thursday. So, I plan on doing it up right tomorrow night....and then working on my paper the rest of the day on Thursday. I'm going to buy a 30-pack of Keystone Light, and it will be gone come Friday Morning.
