Um yes, let's see......what to report, what to report. This post will be lacking, sorry....ummm...the only thing I have been doing lately has been working and playing tennis. Playing Tennis?!? yea. My brother, Foozy, and I have been taking on my mom and dad in doubles tennis. A few days ago we played and Foozy and I won 6-2. Then the next day we played again and my parents beat us 6-3 and then we won 6-3. Foozy and I claimed ourselves the winners, taking 2 of 3...but my dad wanted best of 5. So today we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and finished off the best of 5 series at some tennis courts in Richfield (we had been playing at Century Junior High, right in Lakeville). Alas, Foozy's serve never showed up and I, for some reason, had trouble getting the ball over the net. We lost the first game 6-3 and the last one 6-4. BUT....that last game we battled back from 5-1 and almost tied it at 5-5....but, again, foozy had problems with his serve and double faulted on the last point for the loss....it was kinda stinky, but we still had fun and got to play outside for 2 hours. So that was cool.

In the on-going saga I like to call life, I just got back from my cousin's wedding in a suburb of Chicago. My brother, Foozy, his wife, and I drove down to my Aunt & Uncle's in Wisconsin, and then continued on to the wedding Saturday morning. Then Sunday morning we drove back to Minnesota.
The wedding was really good. It was the first time the WHOLE Helland family had been together since.....probably my other cousin's wedding and that was when I was a junior in high school. So it's been a reeeeally long time. The reception was at the bride's country club. I think her family has a little money, because there was an open bar. In other words, drinks were free. All night. I know my Aunt and Uncle didn't foot the bill, 'cause my Uncle is a pastor just like my dad. And his church was about 1/8th of St. John's. And, just like Foozy's wedding in early June, I had a ton of fun. I can't really decided if it's because I've had a couple of years of college and I can have fun in situations like weddings, or that I've learned how to loosen up more and have a good time.....or if it was really only because alcohol was present. I'm sure alcohol was a good part of it....it gave me a little, as they say, "liquid courage" in some situations.
This wedding I also made up for Foozy's wedding, in that I hung out with my other cousins more. Even though I had some other.....priorities.....at Foozy's wedding, I still felt kind of bad for not talking or hanging out with my cousins. That was too bad....but this time it was better. We had fun. I even think one of my younger cousins, who's in that Junior High age where being out in public with your family (much less your family who is acting goofy) isn't cool.......I think he even had some fun. So that was good.
In other news, I've just been working at SA all the time. I don't have much of a life in Lakeville anymore. Not that I really care, though. It's cheaper this way. I've been working more weekday and morning shifts, and less evening and weekend shifts. Even though I absolutely HATE getting up early, I'd rather work during the day with my manager and asst. manager and have some fun, than sleep in and hate going to work. Yes, I did just mention fun and work in the same sentence. I never would've thought it would happen. But, then the Twins did win a game tonight....so I guess anything can happen.
Anywhoo....my other brother has been hassling me to post more 'cause he gets bored at work sometimes and reads this site to waste some time. So I thought I'd put my two cents in. And now I'm going to watch a movie before I go to bed. A hee hee! I don't have to work again tomorrow! wooohooo!
