I've come to the sad realization that going home for fall break really isn't too cool. So I'll go home and who will be there? Nobody except for the parents. Last year at least there was G-Master and some of the other Normandale folk. Not this year. Thats pretty depressing if you ask me. I kinda don't even want to go home, I'd rather just chill here. Of course I can't say that to my parents 'cause it would break their hearts....but seriously. What am I going to do? I have no car. Nobody to hang with. Nothing to do all day. What a waste. *sigh* Oh well, I guess it's just part of the job....the job of being a kid....

When friends drink, I'm cool with that for obvious reasons. When they do pot, I'm not going to judge them because it's their descision and as long as they don't hurt themselves or others then I say do whatever. But Acid is where I draw the line. Yes, tonight a few of my best friends here decided to try acid. hmmmm.....I'm not going to say they're stupid right to their face, but I pretty much left the party ASAP. And that was that. Hopefully it will just be a one-time deal. What idiots.

ARRRRGH!!!! I'm wide awake thinking about something, so I decided I may as well make good use of the time...so I started writing again. I have a beginning done to my second story, but I just can't get past it. It feels like I'm trying to force it too much.....like I'm constipated or something. I think I may just abandon the whole idea. I need another Chad memory off of which to base another story. I may just have to call up his parents tomorrow and talk with them....see if they can provide me with some ideas. grrrr for bad a memory.
So I just wrote a big post, but then I remembered who reads this site, who has the ability to read this site, and all of the places the link to this site are....so I deleted it. For all the right reasons, though. Sooo...hmmm....I have a couple of big tests coming up, which is the same for just about the rest of ya, so I'm sure you couldn't give a rat's ass. I got my first paper back from my British Lit. class the other day: 89 out of 100. I was pumped. I'm sure you are all thinking, "wait a minute, isn't he a Writing and English major? Shouldn't he get a better grade than that?" No, you need to understand this professer. He is the HARDEST GRADER of all the English Prof's. He is also the prof. who teaches GRAMMER. Which means that every little tiny grammer mistake you make he will count against you. My had only a little bit of red marks on it....and he took off 11% of the grade. His comments were: "Corey, this is a good paper. You make solid points and observations, and back them up with exerpts from the text. Good job." At any rate, I was happy....especially because gave back the papers AFTER he put up how many people got A's, B's, C's, D's, and F's.....yes 4 people out of the class got F's. This was the scariest part for me, 'cause I saw how many people got F's compared to A's (12).....this is out of 35 people....and plus, these are all English and Writing major's. It's a 300 level course. And there are only 4 soph's including me in that class. Aaaannywhoo.....that was cool. Peace.

I remember what I was gonna write. I don't know if I discussed this during the summer, but when I was working at SA...I had this big scam going on. See, in 12 and 24 packs of Mt. Dew products, there were these things called dew bucks. You collect them and then can get stuff online (see link). So whenever I would fill the pop cans in the cooler, I would take out the dew bucks. Over the summer I managed to get a few and got myself a mousepad, travel mug, and a set of 6 20oz mt. dew glasses. I paid only about 7 bucks total for shipping and handling for these. So I had gotten the mouse pad and travel mug already, but for some reason the glasses were taking a long time. Well, on thursday they arrived. I had it sent to lakeville, so my mom was the one who got it. It came in a big, heavy box....which confused her because she couldn't figure out what I would've ordered. When she opened the box.....there were not 6 glasses, but 24!!!! 24! That's so awesome! So now I have a plethora of Mt. Dew glasses....but I only paid $3.50 for all of them. hahahahaha!! I'm so awesome!
