As I was writing the date on a check, I realized that today was my 2 year anniversary at my job. Wow. It truly is amazing how far I've come in an industry I knew nothing about. Especially since tonight was the first night doing extra SQL Server training with my boss & co-workers -- something I want to learn to further bolster my skills in this field.

And that is why English majors should rule the world.

The blog has been neglected again for a week -- I'm sorry. I've been a bit preoccupied with someone. A girl. Yup, eharmony woman (J) and I are dating. I asked just about everybody I know for advice on the situation because I really liked J, but I had only gone on 1 date with her and had planned a second. I had an opportunity to plan another with another woman, but was kind of holding out. J had my attention like no other woman had. But I decided I needed to go down a path that i never do, and expand my horizons, so I made a date with the other woman.

The night before the other woman, J and I went on our third real date (not including just hanging out) and I realized that I had to cancel the other date. I really didn't want to go on it, so why was I? As fate would have it, the other woman had to cancel, and I haven't looked back since.

And I haven't been happier. Every day is like a high I've never had. It's just great. All the time. I can't explain it.

So I haven't really had that much time to myself lately, so no blogging. Tonight was Corey night, though, so here I am. And that's all I have really to update. Tomorrow I have the Twins game, with the Slutty Waitress, Apolliana, Aplolliana's Law School friend, and J. I'm excited. It should be a blast.
