Apparently I need to provide clarification, where clarification is due. Ghetto Bowler, upon further review of the vinyl tonight, it looks like Side A may have some scratches. None of them look super bad, but it's hard to tell until I actually get it onto a turntable. Good point, though...that could definitely be a reason why it was on the rack. Still....I can't imagine why you would sell it.

Mark, I assume you are making a reference to me comparing Leinies to "domestics," thus insinuating that I believed Leinies was an import beer. On the contrary, I am well aware that it is brewed in Wisconsin. Just because a beer is brewed in the states, however, does not mean that it is a "Domestic." When I refer to a "Domestic" beer, I'm referring to Budweiser, Coors, Miller, Busch, Old Style, Milwauke's Best, etc. Domestics are U.S. - made cheap beer by the big breweries. Basically everything else made in the U.S. would then fall into the "Craft Brew" or "Microbrew" category -- Microbrews being the upper echelon of the two. The point of those two reviews was that although Leinies is a Craft Brew, the price for both regular and light was far below that of the domestics, suggesting that the taste would be bad. But it was good. And the light beer didn't taste like most light beers do. Kind of like Amstel Light. Which is an import, so you'd expect it to be good, but still.

Anyway, I guess now that so many beer companies are consolidating, you can't really call domestic beers domestic anymore. Bud being owned by a Belgian (sp) company, Coors merged with Molson, a Canadian company, several years back, and Miller...aren't they owned by a company in South Africa or something? Craziness.

Ok, onto an update. Yesterday was my joint birthday party with the Slutty Waitress. His birthday and mine are on the same day, except he's one year younger in age (not in school years). Here are some pics.

Tailgating at the Saints game
Apolliana, Slutty Waitress, and Dopple
There were some random guys dressed up
I was kind of drunk at this point
We didn't actually ATTEND the game...even though we had tickets. Tailgating just sounded like more fun. But when we were packing up, the guys decided we should take a stroll on through and get a picture taken. I really don't remember much from this point of the evening and on. Good times.
