don't you hate it when your roommate wakes up and the first thing you do is turn off your alarm....even though it's an hour before you are going to wake up? And then you wake up 10 minutes before you're supposed to be at your meeting? Yea...thats a ton-o-fun...I should do it more often.

Woah......So I just got done reading Chaucer's The Miller's Tale, and I'm pretty sure only one person who reads this site knows what I'm talking about right now. But for the rest of you, I recomend this poem (It's a part of The Cantarbury Tales). So anyway, heres a little taste of what you'll find if you read it. Keep in mind this is Middle English, so there are some words you won't know without looking at the footnotes, but I'm sure you'll get the idea...especially if you read it outloud.
"This Absolon gan wipe his mouth ful drye:
Derk was the night as pich or as the cole,
And at the windowe out she putte hir hole,
And Absolon, him fil no bet ne wers,
But with his mouth hi kiste hir naked ers,
Ful savourly, er he were war of this.
Abak he sterte, and thoughte it was amis,
For wel hi wiste a womman hath no beerd." (622-629)
WOWZAS!!! hahahaha!!! did you get what he did??!?!?! k, here's another. It's easy to understand, but I just like the wording.
"Speek, sweete brid, I noot nought wher thou art.
This Nicholas anoon leet flee a fart..." (696-697)
Now that was funny, you gotta admit. It's even more funny when your prof. is reading this whole long passage out in Middle English and he can barely read it without cracking up. Whew...I swear, English majors have all the fun.

TWINS WIN!! TWINS WIN!!! TWINS WIIIIINNN!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what it is about me and the early morning. Maybe it is the quiet tranquility of it, or maybe it's because my mind finally doesn't have to worry about other stuff. Regardless, I seem to do my best writing during this time. I wrote again tonight and I think I have a really good story here. It makes me happy to write it because it reminds me of my past excursions with Chad. Of course, this one never happened and I've embelished and romanticized some of the stuff I did and what he did. But that is to be expected. Because it IS supposed to be fictional writing. So Jason (Chad) and I will be living in a fictional world. wooohooo...I'm excited for this story.

I went to bed tonight a relatively reasonable time. But then I started thinking, which is never good. So I layed there thinking about random crap for about 45 minutes, when I started planning out a short story for my creative writing class. This story has been forming in my mind for about a week now and is based partly off of my life in Rockford and my friend Chad. So as I lay there plotting this story, I finally decided I should get some stuff out on paper. So I wrote for about an hour and got around 3 pages down. yesss....this is going to be a good one. k, I should go to bed.

I just ran across the word "Incubus" in The Canterbury Tales, by Chaucer. You know what it is? It's an evil spirit that descends on sleeping women. Thats a pretty sweet name for a band, once you know what it means.

So I'm watcing the Vikes waste the 49ers, and it's half time. I would naturally think the second half would be on right? Well apparently, the Iowan Fox network is stooopid because they stopped showing the vikings game and started the Eagle's game. ARRRRGGGH!!! I FINALLY get to watch a game and they don't even show the whole thing! Well luckily for me, I have Magiever-like abilities and I found KFAN.Com and am now listening to the game online. So this is super good for later in the season, when I can't watch the games. I'm sooo smart!

dude..........woah. This night was going to suck, and then was good, and then I decided to not make it as good.......which actually made my night awesome!!!! I've been talking to suzanne for like.....5 hours. Thats stinkin amazing/awesome.
