Well, Saienga is married and that's that, I guess. It was a good wedding...I actually got a little sad, though I have no idea why. The food at the reception was quite possibly the best wedding food I've ever had. It was a boneless chicken breast, plus pasta and alfredo sauce....but it was awesome. Normally wedding reception chicken is tough and dry. This chicken was moist and soooo incredibly tender. I was impressed. And I was reasonably hungry by the time it was time to eat that I filled my plate AND ATE IT ALL! Amazing. What would've made it better, though, would be if I would've been able to take a date. But that was impossible, so there I was...alone.....a little depressing, but oh well.
I got new glasses today as well. They're definitely a lot smaller and thinner than my old ones, though I had to get a stronger perscription....which kind of sucks....and I was also able to get a pair of perscription sunglasses, because we had a Happenings Book coupon for a Buy One/Get One Free deal. So now I can finally wear sunglasses, look good, and SEE for the first time ever. In the past I've had to: A). Not wear sunglasses when it's sunny, B). Wear crappy clip-on deals, or C). Wear non-perscription sunglasses and squint while driving. But not any more...ooooooh no....not anymore. I'm excited.
In other news, I got to see G-Master for the first time in a loooong time. Even if was for only a few hours and with other people, since I had no money to spend at the Casino or at Perkins.....it was still good. I got caught up on the lakeville gossip....heard about a kid from my grade that got caught by the police with several pounds of pot in his truck -- needless to say, he's going to be missing our 5-year reunion! I found out that the girl I dated the summer after our senior year in high school is finally dating another guy. Personally, that's pretty exciting.....mainly because of the reasons that caused us to break up -- especially in the unusual circumstances that we did. But mostly it was just good to see G-Master again. I miss hanging out with her....even though Meredith has kind of filled the void that G-Master left when she went back to school and we saw less and less of each other. I dunno.
So that's what's up right now. I still have homework from Wednesday night to do...and I still have to study for and take my take-home test that's due on Monday....and I still have to read Monday's homework. Hmmmm.....and I know that I'll want to spend at least a few hours with Meredith on Sunday as well. Gosh dangit. Oh well....I'll just make up for lost sleep some other time. Grrr.....

Alright, that may have been an all-time low for me as far as posting goes. Here's the update-
The weekend went really well....I gotta admit, I had a ton more fun than I thought I would. But that was probably because I enjoyed the company more this time around. Me, Meredith, and two other guys went to play our instruments at a church service...and we spent the night at this one kid's farm. It was pretty good. Again, it was one of those experiences that you know you need to do...but still kind of don't want to do it...but then it was a really good experience in the end. Yeah. Then the rest of this week happened. Although I did have several very bright shining moments....awesome moments, in fact....it was dampered by my class being stupid. I got my paper back from my prof. that is worth half of my grade....and I got literally the worst grade I've ever gotten on a paper. Ever. So I was way disappointed. Especially because it was a paper. If I would've done bad on a test, then I just would've been pissed. But writing is what I do. It's my job. I just assume I'll get a decent grade on any paper I write. But then today I had a meeting with my prof. and she agreed to let me do a re-write and I may at least get a "B" or something on it. Because right now even if I get 100% on my last two tests, I'll only get like an 85% in the class. Sucky, huh?
The other kinda crappy thing that happened this week was when my roommates and I got a little crazy one night. Several people commented on the music blasting from our room and how a few of the roommates were dancing. It was pretty fun. Anyway, later that evening my old roommate was horsing around and jumped on me, which cause my glasses to break. The right bow broke off at the weld and for the last few days I've been walking around campus with broken glasses. Of course, if you don't know they're broken you really can't tell. But it's really annoying for me. And I feel really stupid. Luckily Saienga is getting married this weekend and I'm going back for the wedding, so I can get them fixed while I'm at home. So that's a good thing.
Other than that, nothing really is new....nothing that I feel like posting on here, that is :-) Oh, and the dude that took my spot in our suite just found out that I have a blog and wanted me to mention him. So there. I just did.
Peace out.
