for lack of anything better to do last night, I went to another dorm and played "Catch Phrase" for about 2 hours. Pretty fun game, for all of you that haven't played it.....it's like Taboo, except there isn't a list of words. You have to describe a word, without saying a part of it, and then pass the little deal on, before the timer runs out. Whoever has the clicker deal when the timer runs out, loses. So I was playing with a bunch of 2nd years, plus two older guys I didn't know. One of these guys was describing a city and time was running out.....he was like "IT'S IN ILLINOIS!!! BIG CITY!!! BIG CITY!!! ILLINOIS!!!" and his team was like "CHICAGO!! CHICAGO!!!" And he was like......"NOOOOO A DIFFERENT ONE, EMINEM IS FROM HERE!!!! EMINEM!!! EMINEM!!!!" well that just confused everybody......can you guess what the city was?? Yup, it was Detroit! This kid thought Detroit was in ILLINOIS!!! Oh man.....it was great!!!

I was just watching cnn and they were airing Britain's Prime Minister Blair's speech, rallying the parliment to vote to support the war......and let me say this: If he was our president, I would've voted for him! He is such a good speaker! Just sitting there, I was persuaded to support the war. It is amazing how much emotion and passion he conveys through his speech....sooo much better than bush.

Last night we had a good 'ol fashioned cookout.....and it was great. Burgers, dogs, grilling, geetars, bunch of guys hangin out, harrassing the people passing by......good times...good times....at one point, the dudes playing guitar we just messing around and these two black dudes came up and were like "Dude thats dope! Get us a good song going." So they put a few chords together and played a several measure melody and repeated it, then one of the dudes started beat-boxing to it (take nate lyke and mike warren times 5 and thats how good he was), pretty soon the other dude started to freestyle to it.....man it was like out of movie or somethin...it was AWESOME! woah...man i dunno if I've been a part of something that great. Anyway were were out there from like 6-9! Now I'm sure you're thinking "didn't he have to work 4-8?" Well, at about 3:00, I got a headache, which made me super naseous. I was sitting at work, behind the desk downstairs, and i was actually wondering if I was going to puke....it was scary! Luckily one of the student workers was walking by right at that moment and she agreed to finish my shift for me. So I went back and slept from 4:30 - a little before 6. I felt a lil better then....although my first burger didn't help it......we didn't have any seasoning at all on it....it was pretty bad......after that we went and got some pepper and that was better. ooig....I had to stay up late again, though, to finish some homework....and even then I didn't finish it all.....double oig!! Oh well, it was worth it....cause it was awesome....Do any of your college friends have parents that are sooo uptight and nazi-ish and scary that you stay out of their way when they walk by? Well, my friend here (the crane guy--ian) his mom is like that.....so he came back from home at about 8 and at about 7:30 we had this great idea to light one of the charcoal briquets on fire. So by the time his mom and he came by, the coal was smoldering---still red hot though---can you guess what happened? Yup, she stepped on it and sparks and embers were flying all over....the best part was, though, she didn't even notice! Man, were we cracking up.....hee hee hee!
