oh yea and I finished that story with plenty of time to spare. I didn't have any time to proof read it though, because it ended up being 8 pages long, plus an additional 2 page auxilory ending that I couldn't decide if it was better than the one I had originally written. So thats good. maybe. Except I lost my train of thought. dang.
'Tis not too late to seek a newer world

For my Religion 101 class, we have a small research paper coming up and then a 10-15 minute group presentation on our subject. We had five to choose from and then we listed our top 3 and the prof. put us in the groups. My top choice was Women's Ordinations. Partly because it seemed like the most interesting, but mainly because I knew that all the girls would sign up for it. It's widely known that females work harder than males in group projects, plus the girls that signed up are probably slightly feminist, which would make them passionate about the work. So I ended up in a group with 4 girls and me. SCORE! So, that'll pretty much gauruntee an "A". Oh golly am I good.

check it check it check it out! Scroll all the way down to the bottom of my page and check out my site meter. ALMOST 3,000! WHOO HOOO! I think I'm nearing on my one year aniversery of good 'ol www.so-white-it-hurts.blogspot.com. I say that because I've changed templates and names a few times, but the address has been the same since the very beginning. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I have a short story due tomorrow at 12:55 and I really am struggling...mainly because I don't know what to write. Dang writer's block. I know I've mentioned this a few times. I was thinking about just writing a new story, but then I pushed the whole issue away....sort of an out of sight, out of mind type of deal. Well, that didn't do me any good, 'cause here I am the night before it's due and I still have nothing more than i had before. Gosh dangit. I guess......I guess I'll just stare at the screen and hope I can vomit enough out on the page to have something even remotely close to the story I want. Poop.

of course, after this year....I would have to take 16 more classes.......with 18 available slots.....hmmm...that might not work so well....
So I'm about to officially switch my major to Writing. I've noticed there are a lot of Communication Arts classes in the major, and the the Communication Arts major coincidentally overlaps with the Writing major.....so I may end up majoring in Writing and Communication Arts with an emphasis on Print Media.....crazy how stuff happens like that......

I can't remember how many times this has happened to me...that I waste my night watching the Vikes lose...and then end up staying up late. Damnit
Welp, I'm back from my fall break with more homework left than I should. I thought I would get a lot done since I was just gonna be around the house......yea that didn't happen. My dad wanted to finish building our deck. (the weekend before I left for Wartburg, we began systematically dismantling our deck. We left the supporting structure in place, but took down the floorboards and railings and then replaced the old stuff with new boards.) Thursday we worked on it for about an hour. Friday we worked for about 7-8 hours. Saturday we worked for about 3 hours. It was cold and tiring....and I got only a little bit of homework done. On the plus side, I had an idea for my second short story....although it IS due on thursday >8O grrrr....I may kill myself....or not...but still. Ok, I'm gonna start doing some misc. stuff before the Vikes game. PACKERS SUUUUUUUCK!
