I think that how little I've been posting lately is a testament of how much fun I've been having. And I also don't really have that many stories to tell. Basically I've just been chilling with J. Jess, Apolliana, the slutty waitress, and one of my brothers have all met her. Oh wait, no, Jess has not met her. I forgot. I guess I just talked to Jess about her in the early stages of the relationship, so I counted that. Anyway, she's apparently passed the test of everyone she's met.

And I've been doing well on her end as well. I've talked to her mom twice now in the past several days. The first time on Friday because it's J's birthday this weekend and I needed some insight from the mom, so I called up her parents and talked to them for a while. Sometimes you need to do what you gotta do. And then tonight I asissted her mom with a paper for a comp. class. (she has decided to go back to college to get her degree) How many times have you instructed the mother of your significant other on anything, much less how to write a paper? It was strange and exhilirating at the same time. Especially when she was wimping out on swearing in her paper, in the exact moment that it needed it. She was embaressed, but I told her that when you're telling a story you need to tell it the way the story deserves to be told. If that includes swearing, then it better include those words, damnit! Well, ok, I didn't say damnit, but I made my point. It was a whole lotta fun.

Tonight I'm doing laundry and trying to get caught up in my life. Girlfriends take up a lot of your time. Sheesh. It's definitely a good use of my time, but I'm not used to it. Especially with the 2YG being in Spain for half of our relationship. I'm really out of practice on how to manage time. And I've noticed I haven't hung out with Apolliana, the slutty waitress, Doppleganger, and Ryan for a long time. We did a Twins game last week, but that was with J, and Doppel and Ryan couldn't go. So it wasn't the same. Hopefully on Thursday we'll all get to hang out again.

Alrighty, I need to finish folding laundry and balancing my checkbook, while knocking off this last bottle of Summit IPA and cranking the Pink Floyd.

Life is good.
