While I would have rather seen the Wild win, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and am looking forward to the rest of the series. So that wasn't so bad. What was bad, was we were having severe weather warnings and the stupid t.v. station cut into the game shortly into the 2nd OT and never went back to the game.......so I missed the end. WHY IN GOD'S NAME WOULD YOU DO THAT!!!!! ARRRRRRRRGHHHHH!

Exciting....and a little bit scary maybe.......stuff happened last night at Wartburg college. A small, but obviously large enough to call for a firetruck, an ambulance, and two squad cars, fire started in the largest dorm on campus.....which is the one directly across the field from me. I, personally, was sound asleep when my curtious roommate decided it was in my best interests to be woken up to look at the pretty flashing lights. So from about 1:30-2:30am this morning we watched about 1/5 of the campus walk around and wait for the ok to re-enter their dorm. It's still pretty sketchy as to what exactly happened, but I know it was on the second floor of the guy's part of the dorm. Apparently somebody actually saw flames in the hallway. Also, the fire-fighters had opened up a fire hydrant and had a hose going up to the second floor. At the same time, though, I know of a couple of guys that slept through the whole thing and didn't ever leave their room......which was pretty stupid on their part......but then, what are you going to do. So that was the craziness last night....and I didn't get any sleep...and so this morning came waaay too fast....and now I may skip the second part of classes because our prof is stupid and we dont' learn anything new............k good.

Maaaaaan.....everybody is online tonight, thus making our internet move sooooo slooooow. I'm downloading stuff about 5x as slow as last night. I don't have any homework tonight, so it has been a nice night of relaxing. Not having homework tonight is like not having homework for a full week.....including over the weekend. That's how BIG it is to not have any homework during May term. Of course, my day doesn't really get over until 6pm, so it's not like I've been relaxing all day, but it WAS pretty easy. We had a test in the second half of our day, but it was cake. It took about an hour, but thats just because the stuff took a while to do. I'm confident that I will get an "A" on it. If I don't, I will most definitly be pissed. ~ 4 minutes remaining on the download~ After that, I had about 2.5 hours off before work. So then I ate lunch and watched "The Fast and the Furious." Pretty much a low-key day. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just remembered something funny from work today. So me and this other girl, Tina, were shelving books. I finished off half of the cart, which is about 5 feet long with 4 shelves--2 on a side--and brought it back to her. Now this cart was super heavy when I started and I left her all of the periodicals to do, which are heavier than the books. So she was trying to to manuver it to get it turned around and ended up DUMPING THE WHOLE THING ON THE GROUND!!!! Oh man! I just about died from trying not to laugh. She was standing in a 3ft pile of periodicals and all she could say was "oops!" Yea it was funny until I had to help her put it all back into alphebetical order. Dang thats a pain in the deriere! Anyway, one of my downloads finished and now I have 10 minutes left on the other. I'm gonna leave this post at this and I'll catch y'all later.

welp....it has finally happened. I'm totally disconnected from Rockford High School. I was looking on the school's website to get an email of one the faculty and I decided to look at the band's pictures of their trip to New York. As I (virtually, of course) sifted through these pictures, I realized I knew none of the students. I recognized none of the faces......not even in the trombone section. When my class graduated......I lost all the students I knew at RHS. My friends had always been in my grade or the upper grades, due to my older brothers' connections. Now I know nobody. It's kinda sad.
wowzas........I just watched three movies in a row.....good times....good times. Tonight I have decided several things. First of all, I need to buy the following DVDS: Donnie Darko, The Boondock Saints (Quite possibly the two best movies ever made), 16 Candles, and the Breakfast Club. Next, the first book I ever write will be titled The Cellar Door (watch Donnie Darko for an explanation.....but mainly because it's a good title) and that novel will NOT be some crappy scary book either. Finally, I need to hang out with my prof's daughter again....I miss talking to her. While I was upstairs watching movies, she IM'd me saying a bunch of stuff....but mainly that she had just broken up with her boyfriend and she was feeling good about that. Hmmmmm.....I wish I had known she had a boyfriend when I asked her that one question...........oh well, I don't really mind that much. ................yea............I'm gonna email her right now........aaaaaanyway, that doesn't matter. You know what's kinda interesting, though? As I sit here and think about The Cellar Door, I'm excited. Isn't that crazy? I'm excited over a possible title to a novel that neither has been written, nor has a subject. Yet, I'm excited for the day when The Cellar Door becomes published...........yea thats weird, I know............but welcome to my world.
