Well last night i fell victim to the stress of college. Kinda. My parents came down for my band concert, so I hung out with them for the afternoon and then they took me out to eat. And that was nice. Then I had the concert, which went decently well. There were a couple of spots were Dan and I had to glance at each and just shake our heads because we totally screwed up but still managed to sound good in the parts where the audience could hear us, and end perfectly right. Craziness.
After the band concert was all done, the plan was to go hang out with the 2YG for a while. Alas, the evilness of homework struck. I swear that girl has more homework than anyone I know. So I just went over to her room for a little bit and then leaving like an hour later. Big time bummer.
An update on the Dan and beer situation....he really didn't like anything. Instead of committing himself to one 6-pack, he took advantage of being able to make a pick-your-own-six. So I loaded him up with a Leinie's Honey Weisse, Blue Moon, Newcastle, a Carmel Bock, an Amber Ale, and an Oktober fest. Jess, he like Blue Moon the least. Go figure. Last I heard he liked the Leinie's the best, but that's relative to the others. So I dunno where to go from there.
Someone asked for details on my date. Well, it wasn't so much of a date as it was other things. I guaruntee every single one of you has done this and you know how fun it is....and the 2YG had never done experienced it, so that made it even better. So anyway, since the skies were clear and it was relatively warm (Though by the time we walked back to my room at 2:30 a.m. it had to have been low 30's, high 20's) I zipped two sleeping bags together and took her all the way out past the soccer fields, down by the baseball fields, down near the observatory and laid out in the pitch-black on the grass. The moon hadn't risen yet either, so that made it even better. And once we were out there? Well....that's all I'm going to indulge. But it was a good plan.
Anyhoo...I have yet another band concert today. Yeah. I know. And I need to eat lunch and get ready for that. So peace out.
