I ripped my favorite pair of boxers tonight. Pink. Blue stripes. They were glorious. They were that pair that I'm sure everyone has -- the clutch underwear. Dependable for the important occasions. It was a sad night.

I also managed to permanently stain my favorite pair of jeans tonight as well, but that wasn't as big of a deal. They were on the edge of the garbage anyway, due to a rapidly increasing hole on the right butt cheek. They were just on the edge of no longer being suitable for the public. I used to have a pair of jeans in high school that had the same problem, except then I pushed them to the limit and learned my lesson. I was working at Snyders one summer day, wearing those jeans, and taking a little rest in the middle of breaking down boxes behind the store. It was a super nice day, so I hopped up on top of the dumpster. After a long while, I decided someone might actually miss me, so I jumped down to go back inside. Unfortunately, the mid-sized hole had snagged itself on the lid of the dumpster, and tore a good 4 to 5 inch hole in the back of my jeans. Dangit! That was not fun to finish out the shift. So now I knew I was going to have to retire these jeans soon.

Both of these losses weren't really as bad as they normally would've been. They just point to the state of my wardrobe. Basically, I never buy clothes for myself. It just doesn't seem like a good use of money. So I'm going to use my tax refund money and go on a huge shopping spree. I've been using my "free time" at work to peruse online stores to figure out what I wanna get. Finally, I'm going to have some new clothes....

wee.
