Man, we got a lot of snow today! It seriously was the biggest snow I've seen in a long time. I got up at 7 this morning to get a glass of water and was bummed to see that it hadn't snowed like the forecasters said it would, but then when I got up for real at 11 there was literally 6 inches of snow on the ground. I'd say we got a little under a foot and a half today. Amazing.
Yesterday was my roommate's, Kurt, 21st birthday. It was like 60 degrees and sunny out so we all went to the park and then later went to Hooters to watch the NCAA hockey championship game. It was my first Hooters experience, and it was pretty fun. After that we all came back to the apartments to drink some more and then everybody went out again...but not me. Since I already spent 30 bucks that day from going out and whatnot, I figured I didn't need to do anything more......plus, I had a pretty decent buzz going. So it was a good time to stop. It's probably because all I had for supper was about 7 hooters hot wings. Not the best meal to be drinking on. Oh well.
Today was pretty boring....just watched golf (which normally I hate, but really.....the final round of the masters? ya gotta watch that!) And then I started packing and doing some general cleaning of the apartment. I still have to write an 8 page paper for a class out here, but I'm procrastinating big time....I figure it's not due until Friday, so I have plenty of time. That's also why I've started packing so early. I want to get ready early to get back to Wartburg. I'm pumped.
Speaking of which, I hear that I have a new reader. It's always nice to have some different people who frequent my site....no matter who they may be....anyway, I just wanted to invite you to come back as much as you like.
