Today I got up at 8 and studied Brit. Lit until 2:00 and then took my test at 2:30. Ironically enough the "hard" part of the test was easier than the "easy" part of the test...probably because I studied the hard stuff the most.....and there were questions on the easy part specifically written so that nobody gets 100%. I promise you....we didn't ever talk about the stuff covered in about 4 of the questions. 2 of those I got just because of my past classes and general knowledge. The other 2....I had no idea. After we were done with the test, we were able to get our papers back (you know, the one I talked about a couple of weeks ago Moll Flanders: A Victim of Society. When I grabbed it, I saw all of these red marks all over it and stuff written like "what is this?" and "I don't get what you mean here" and "this is wrong." and I thought......aaaaaah crap. I screwed this paper up. Just an FYI, it was a kind of Literary Criticism type of paper....meaning if you correctly understood the novel, then your argument should be correct.....so if you incorrectly understood the novel, then your paper was probably wrong. So I was starting to feel a little crappy, but I continued to flip through the paper and on the second page, there were no red marks....nor on the third. At the bottom of the last page, it said: "Nice paper Corey, except for the first example you used the text well and had good logic." So I actually did well on the paper. Not an "A", though.......My usual 89%. Meh. It seems like I'm never quite up to the Prof's standards...oh well.
Yay! That test is done! It has been haunting me for a while. Now I just need to do all of my stuff that I have neglected since Friday......baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
