Thus concludes tonight's movie marathon showing of Vasity Blues and The Cidar House Rules. Whats the review, you ask? Well, Varsity Blues is......Varsity Blues. It's good for what it is, and not much more. In other words, it is good 'ol fluff. The Cidar House Rules, on the other hand, has more consistency. To put it bluntly, there's more to the plot. At the same time, the majority of the movie disappointed me. Not until the end did my perspective of the movie change. The end effectively (to use a cliche) tied the loose ends. All in all, I'd give it 4 stars out of 5. It is one of those movies that you need to see, although I would not recomend watching it alone as I did. But then, most of you are back at school now and have no time for a Monday Movie Marathon. Oh well: so it goes.
