oooooiiiig.....what a day. I got up at stinkin 4:45a.m......it actually wasn't that bad, but it definitly was a long morning, since I had been up 7 hours before it was even noon. Puke.....I was gonna write a bunch last night, but then I IM'd that link (see yesterday's post) to like everybody that was online last night.....and then everybody replied....and then I was actually carrying a conversation with several other people at the same time....needless to say, I gave up on upgrading the 'ol blog. Hmmm....I have lots to say about my texas trip, but don't know if I should post any of it on here....gotta censor it for the 'rents, ya know. Just in case they take a looksy at the page. But yea, I do have a lotta good stories, IM me or email me if you are super interested. We spent Friday and Saturday on the Gulf of Mexico, Corpis Cristi if you know where that is, and I got burned.....even though it was a little chilly. I had a ton of fun with my older bro and two of his army buddies, a Lieutenant and a Captain, both of which graduated from West Point too. We stayed on the Corpis Cristi NAS (Navel Air Station) at the Navel Lodge.....the room was really crappy and only had one bed, no remote for the T.V., nor did it have any shampoo. Quite interesting since four of us stayed in the room. Let me tell you this, by the way, based on what I saw from these three guys, ages 25, 26, and 27......guys don't mature that much. I can see me and my college friends doing pretty much what they did all weekend.....it was great! Sunday we just drove back from the beach, 'cause it was like a 5 hour drive....then on Monday, we went out to a lake and wakeboarded and stuff. That was pretty sweet....it was my first time wakeboarding, but it wasn't that hard for me to get up and stay stable......I could've stayed in the wake all day, but that isn't what wakeboarding is all about. So when i tried to go out of the wake, I wiped out....repeatedly.....it most definitly would've been worse, though, if I had never skiied or anything before. Because the only difficulty I had was how I was supposed to spin the board from the starting position....to the riding postion.....if you don't know what those are, ask someone, because it's too much work to type out. So that was monday...and then I flew back today....sweetness....the only problem is, I'm bored and i don't have a car.....I could've worked at the gas station again, but I needed a break from that place. So here i sit....puke...but at least the wild will be on soon....aiight I gotta check some other stuff....if you are in the lakeville area and want to hang out in the next 4 days, contact me! ~disco~
