Didn't get on the same bus as her. Bad? yea, 'cause I didn't get that "in." But good 'cause I was feeling reeeeeally crappy for the first part of the bus ride, so I was in nooo mood to schmooze. This weekend was good, though. My concert band (ironically, the non-touring group) went on "run-out" to a church in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. Elk Mound is like 10 minutes from Stout University and about 20 minutes from Eau Claire. Unfortunately, I didn't know that until AFTER our concert. Otherwise, I would've told Saienga and he could've heard our group.....or heard our trombone quartet that played at two churchs this morning. Either way, it would've been way cool for him to hear our groups. When else would any of you get to hear the WARTBURG Symponic band? Probably never....unless I can swing it for the group to come to Lakeville my senior year. That would be waaaay sweet. But anyways....the rest of the band went back Saturday evening, while Me, 3 other trombone players, and one Bassoon player (he is from Elk Mound and we played at his dad's churchs) stayed saturday night and chilled with the bassoonist's parents. Then we played at two very small, very rural churchs. It ws pretty fun. We got a potluck lunch out of it. Then the five of us drove the 4 hours home. In an Alero. Which is a rather small, 4-door sedan. Yes. That is five guys, averaging over 6ft tall, with 4 trombone cases, 5 garments bags holding tuxes, and 5 backpacks. In an Alero. Needless to say, it was a loooooong rough ride home. But it was really pretty fun. The stuff memories are made of. You know the situations. yah. Well......I have done absolutely no homework this weekend....and it's nearly 10. I should probably get on that, huh? Peace.
