What began as a little shopping trip, ended as a $256 splurge. My mom and I went to the Mall of America to find me new black dress shoes. The ones I had been wearing were bought the summer before 10th grade and they were what I had used for dress shoes and marching shoes. Needless to say, they were far from worthy to be worn with my new band tux. So we wandered in to Nordstroms and left with a nice pair of $90 shiny black dress shoes. The trip would've ended there, but when I was trying on the black shoes, I noticed an intriguing pair of Skechers............so we went to the Skechers store to investigate. I left there with a trendy pair of brown shoes with the price tag of $65. Now we really WERE leaving.........but we passed the A&F store on the way out. I couldn't pass up a new pair of jeans, a pair of "fun" khakis, and a belt. Thus spending way more than I should have.
It was all worth it, though. I needed the black shoes so I could look cool at Tom Barsness and Jenna Michica's wedding on Friday........and the jeans, khakis, belt, and brown shoes will just make me that much more irresistable to the ladies. awwwww yea!
