and so it goes in the life of me. I friend has been talking about asking a girl out for a while, but has been too wussy to do it. So I, being a thoughtful friend, mentioned that the $1 movie night tonight would be a good way to start things off. Well, he said he would do it only if I would ask someone and then suggested one of his friends. Now that I had opened my big mouth, there was no way I could back out. So, after work tonight, I went up to this girl's room. Just a side note for ya....I had met this girl once and barely remembered what she looked like.....so I kinda was flying blind on this one. So upholding my end of the deal, I went to her room and described the situation and asked her.......yup she couldn't go. So I humiliated myself for nothing. Plus, I later found out that my friend had already found this out, but didn't call me at work to stop me from embarressment. Welcome to my world people......welcome to my world.....
